I opened Ventura Meat Company back in 2011 because I couldn’t find a place that sold meat the way I wanted to buy it — straightforward, good quality, no gimmicks, no bulk buy-in required. I wasn’t looking to reinvent the wheel, just to cut out the noise and do things right.
Fourteen years later, we’re still here, serving families who’ve been with us since day one, and welcoming new faces every week. This shop has grown up alongside this community, and I’m proud of the role we get to play in people’s lives, whether it’s Tuesday night tacos or holiday roasts.
